ABOUT THE CLUB

BY-LAWS OF EAST TEXAS BMW PLUS MOTORCYCLE CLUB

East Texas BMW Plus Motorcycle Club is a non-profit organization.

Club Officers : The Membership shall elect a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.

Other Post or committees as needed may be elected by the membership or selected as volunteers as decided by the membership.

A complete record of paid members will be kept by the Secretary.

Treasurer will keep a record of current assets and liabilities.

Annual dues can be kept in a club safe deposit box or club checking account. The club tax id is 90-0900753.

Any moneys paid out must be approved by at least two (2) club officers.

Membership shall be advised quarterly as to money on hand and money paid out.

East Texas BMW Plus Motorcycle Club will be a BMW MOA Charter Club.

1. The purpose of this organization is to enjoy and promote motorcycle touring,
   fellowship, and motorcycle safety.
2. East Texas BMW Plus Motorcycle Club assumes no liability or responsibility for any member or their motorcycle or equipment.
3. Membership in the East Texas BMW Plus Motorcycle Club requires members to pay an annual fee of ten ($10) dollars for single and fifteen ($15.00) dollars for families.
4. Membership is open to any motorcycle rider who is eighteen (18) years or older and holds a valid motorcycle drivers license and liability insurance as required by law for the motorcycle used and for any club activity.
5. All members shall conduct themselves in a proper manner at all times.
6. Foul or abusive language or actions will not be tolerated.
